STS Series Step-up Transformer

Blakley Electrics portable transformer stepping-up a 110V site supply to a 230V domestic supply. To provide its full output, the transformer must be fed from an adequately rated generator or site transformer. The assembly weighs 42kgs and is complete with the fitments detailed below:

Enclosure
TS series, free-standing pattern with two carrying handles, sheet steel construction, vented. The enclosure is phosphate pre-treated prior to powder coating, shade Dark Admiralty Grey.
Enclosure dimensions: 373H x 336W x 321D mm.

Rating
3000 VA single-phase, double-wound, continuously rated transformer, manufactured in accordance with BS EN 61558 Part 1 & 2-4. The assembly can supply 5000VA intermittently (when feeding powertools, etc).

Supply Input
Via a 2 metre length of 4mm2 3C Yellow PVC Arctic grade cable complete with a 32A 2P+E 110V plug.

Distribution
Fitted with a 16A single-pole MCB feeding a double-pole, 30mA Type A RCD. The RCD feeds 1 no. 16A 2P+E 230V IPX4 industrial socket to BS EN 60309-2 and 1 no. 13A, SP+N+E, 230V to BS1363.
The MCB and RCD are located behind a hinged window and the 13A socket is protected by a weatherproof cover.
