STLW Series Transformer Assembly

Blakley Electrics enclosed transformer assembly providing a Reduced Low Voltage Supply (RLV) and a Separated Extra Low Voltage Supply (SELV) in accordance with BS7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations). The assembly is supplied complete with the fitments detailed below:

Enclosure – TL series, wall mounting, sheet steel, non-vented to IP44. The enclosure is phosphate pre-treated prior to electrostatically applied powder coating, shade Dark Admiralty Grey.
The wall mounting brackets can be repositioned on-site to make the enclosure floor fixing.

Rating – 1000VA single-phase, double-wound, dual voltage, continuously rated transformer, manufactured in accordance with BS EN 61558 Parts 1 and 2-4 with an earthed secondary winding and the addition of a separate SELV tertiary output winding.

Primary Volts – 230
BS7671:2018 permits a supply voltage tolerance of -6% / +10%. Any variation in the voltage connected to the primary winding will proportionally vary the secondary voltage and also alter the inrush current characteristics. To address the impact of variations in the supply voltage, tappings can be incorporated into the primary winding. We would be pleased to quote for transformers with primary tappings.

Secondary Volts – 110 CTE (in accordance with BS EN 61558 Part 2-23) @ 900VA

110V Distribution – 1 no. 16A 2P+E 110V socket to BS EN 60309-2 protected by 10A DP fusing.

Tertiary Volts – 24 Earth Free (in accordance with BS EN 61558 Part 2-6)@ 100VA

24V Distribution – 1 no. 16A 2P 24V socket to BS EN 60309-2 protected by 5A DP fusing

Loose Plugs – A 110V plug and 24V plug is supplied with each socket.
